A YA cosmic horror graphic novel about a middle school club of paranormal investigators hunting cryptids and uncovering the mysteries of their town in 1990s New England.

This story explores the existential terror of being a pre-teen in a rapidly changing world, inspired by Goosebumps, Gravity Falls, Scooby-Doo, Twin Peaks, Hilda, The X-Files, Lovecraft, Stephen King, Weekly World News, conspiracy theories, cryptid-sightings, and all things creepy.

An idyllic hamlet nestled in the rolling hills of New England, is the main setting for Cherry Creek Paranormal.

It is equal parts Twin Peaks, Gilmore Girls’ Stars Hollow and H.P. Lovecraft’s Arkham, a quirky little town hiding a dangerous history that most of its citizens would rather forget .

The House of the Tall Grass

The sect of sinister cultists lurking in the secret tunnels and abandoned bunkers under Cherry Creek. Led by the enigmatic ‘Father’, they meet in secret and work behind the scenes. All that is known is that they’re connected to the history of the town and the recent appearance of the mutants known as the Cherry Creek Cryptids.

The unfortunate local fauna of Cherry Creek’s woods and streams that have come into contact with the otherworldly ooze!

These creatures are the result of the ongoing ecological phenomena causing normal, every-day creatures to mutate into (sometimes terrifying) creatures and develop strange powers. It’s only a matter of time before the townsfolk are next.
